This work depicts the confrontation scene of Zhong Kui's subduing demons. Xia Jing Shan uses virtual and real techniques to create a sense of space in the front and back, showing a strong sense of autumn under the ochre smudges, and the leaning slender trees at the rear break the stable structure with a strange and dangerous trend. The red leaves filled with double hooks and the weeds with strong lines delicately depict the physical relationship between Zhong Kui's sword-drawing dynamics and the opposition between ghosts and ghosts.
