Buddhanandi ārya excels at debating, and is well known for his Dharma preaching. Xia Jing Shan’s Buddhanandi ārya has a long nose and sunken lips, creating a contrast on the face that is turned to the side. His sitting posture of holding onto his knees and the lines of the grass mat are simple, clean and powerful, presenting a naturally self-possessed attitude.
