In the painting, Suvinda is depicted with an old face, holding a pagoda and smiling while looking far. His long ears reaching to his shoulders are reflecting the longevity and blessing of Arhat.
Xia Jing Shan depicted Arhat as having a firm appearance with protruding head and jaws. It is interesting to see a strong contrast between the straight ink lines of the sitting cushion and the unsui (to drift like clouds and flow like water) strokes of his clothing.
