The skin color of the paintings of Guanyin Buddha paintings of Xia Jingshan Buddhist priests are mostly drawn with very thin lines and hooks to trace the five senses of Guanyin, hands, feet and other lines. The base is covered with white, and then it is over-stained with orange tones such as Zhu Biao and cinnabar with ocher and cinnabar. The forehead, nose bridge, chin, hands, feet and other parts are washed white to make the picture rich in three-dimensionality.
